許乃釗

许乃钊（1799年—1878年），字贞恒，号信臣，又号恂普，浙江钱塘（今杭州市）人，清朝政治人物。

生平

许乃钊为道光十五年（1835年）进士。授编修。历任国史馆总纂官，河南、广东学政，内阁学士兼礼部侍郎衔，江南大营帮办。咸丰三年（1853年）出任江苏巡抚，镇压上海小刀会起义，次年因无功被革职。咸丰七年（1857年），以三品顶戴帮办江南军务，咸丰八年（1858年）迁光禄寺卿。咸丰十年（1860年）太平军破江南大营，攻克苏州、常州，再次被革职。不久引疾回乡。光绪四年（1878年）卒。

家庭

父許學范為乾隆三十七年（1772年）進士。學范有七子，其中乃濟、乃普、乃釗三子为進士，其余四子也皆中舉人，故有“七子登科”之美譽。當時的學者、書法家梁同书曾写對聯“世間數百年舊家，無非積德；天下第一件好事，還是讀書”贈與許學范。

著作

著作有《安澜纪要》、《回澜纪要》、《荒政辑要》、《武备辑要》、《城守辑要》等，并注释明戚继光所著之《纪效新书》及《练兵实记》。
