艾玛·多诺霍Emma Donoghue,1969年10月24日)是一名爱尔兰出生的加拿大女小说家、历史学家和剧作家。其1995年小说 Hood 赢得石墙图书奖[2],2000年的 Slammerkin 赢得Ferro-Grumley Award女同性恋文学奖[3]。她的2010年小说 Room 是一部国际畅销书并入选布克奖最终候选名单[4]

生平

1969年她生于爱尔兰都柏林[5],是家中8个孩子中最小的[1]

获得都柏林大学学院一等文学士学位和剑桥大学英语博士学位。1998年移居加拿大,2004年成为加拿大公民[5]

2015年她担任编剧改编自其原著的电影《房间》赢得多伦多影展人民选择奖。
