《真我之聲》[1][2]（英語：WE ARE）是美國創作歌手強·巴提斯的第6張錄音室專輯，於2021年3月19透過Verve唱片發行，「慶功特別版!」於同年10月15日發行。這是張融合当代节奏布鲁斯、爵士、靈魂、流行和嘻哈等音樂風格的專輯，專輯由巴提斯、歐特·羅維（Autumn Rowe）、Kizzo、史蒂夫·麥克伊旺、特洛伊·安德魯斯、桑尼·李維（Sunny Levine）、PJ摩同、賈哈恩·斯威特、瑪維絲·史黛波、安德雷·亞力山大（Andrae Alexander）、查克·庫伯（Zach Cooper）、維克·迪莫西斯（Vic Dimotsis）和埃里克·弗雷德里克等人創作，巴提斯、Kizzo和大卫·皮门特尔（David Pimentel）擔任製作。

製作與發行
[编辑]專輯的製作最早可以追溯至2019年，當時還是《斯蒂芬·科拜尔晚间秀》樂隊領隊的強·巴提斯在自己的更衣室內創作音樂，由於時間問題，巴提斯6天後才走進錄音室錄製[3]。在這6天，巴提斯與友人歐特·羅維（Autumn Rowe）以及她介紹的音樂人Kizzo探索專輯方向[4]。在歷經2019冠状病毒病和Black Lives Matter後[4][5]，專輯於2020年5月底完成[6]。巴提斯負責製作、創作《真我之聲》除了部分曲目外的所有曲目，他還在專輯中演奏了貝斯、鍵盤、鋼琴、弦樂器、Mellotron合成器甚至是特雷門[7]。
除了疫情和黑人社會運動的影響，專輯還追朔了文化根源，他找來父親、祖父、瑪維絲·史黛波、查蒂·史密斯、PJ摩同、長號·蕭特、詹姆斯·加德森、史蒂夫·喬丹、羅伯特·倫道夫（Robert Randolph），以及來自巴提斯在新奥尔良的聖奧古斯丁高中樂隊Marching 100共同演繹[4][5]。專輯被認為融合了当代节奏布鲁斯、爵士、靈魂、流行和嘻哈等音樂風格[5][8][9][10][11]，但巴提斯在接受《Atwood Magazine》時表示這是張無流派專輯，裡面的故事蘊含了他最個人化與脆弱的一面，而其中想傳遞出的內容（希望、愛、社群以及同情）這正是全世界現在最需要的[12]。
