狗脂鯉屬（學名：Hydrocynus）是鮭脂鯉科下的一屬。其學名是希臘文的「水」及「狗」的組合。[2]屬內包含6個物種，因它們會猛烈保衛地盤，故統稱為「非洲虎魚」，水族市面上常以猛魚、虎魚稱呼此屬的魚種。[3][4]
