東周惠公

東周惠公，姓姬，名班^{[註 1]}，又名根^{[註 2]}，又名傑^{[註 3]}，西周威公少子^{[註 4]}，西周惠公之弟。西周威公死后，公子根在东部争立，从西周国分裂出东周国，成為東周国第一任君主。

《史記·六國年表》周顯王九年（前360年）注引《紀年》，該年東周惠公去世。

前任： —	東周国君主前367年－前360年	繼任：東周昭文君

^ 《史記索隱·周本紀》引《世本》、《史記正義·周本紀》引郭緣生《述生記》轉引《史記》、《太平御覽》卷85引《帝王世紀》。
^ 《韓非子·內儲說下》及《難三》。
^ 《史記集解·六國年表》引徐廣轉引《紀年》。
^ 《史记集解》、《史记正义》都认为东周惠公是西周惠公之子，但《汉书·古今人表》记载东周惠公是西周威公之子，周勋初《韩非子札记》根据《吕氏春秋·先识览》、《说苑·权谋》记载西周威公死后国分为二以及《韩非子·难三》、《韩非子·内储说下·说五》记载公子根分裂西周国的记载，认为东周惠公是西周威公的儿子。
