昌州 (湖北)

昌州，中国南北朝时设置的州。

西魏恭帝元年（554年）改南荆州置昌州，治所在襄乡县（北周名广昌县，隋朝名枣阳县，在今湖北省枣阳市），领广昌郡、安昌郡。隋朝开皇三年（583年）罢郡，以州直接统县，昌州领枣阳、舂陵、清潭、蔡阳等县。大业三年（607年）改昌州为舂陵郡，唐初复昌州，贞观十年（636年）废，地入隋州和唐州。
