尖角龍亞科（Centrosaurinae）是角龍科的一個亞科，由古生物學家勞倫斯·賴博（Lawrence Lambe）在1915年所命名，模式屬是尖角龍。尖角龍亞科可分為兩個族：尖角龍族、厚鼻龍族[1]。
繁衍
[编辑]在2001年的科學文獻中，曾紀錄過可能屬於尖角龍亞科的未孵化胎兒化石[2]。研究人員推論，尖角龍亞科的成年個體的特徵、性徵完全發展後，本身才會成長接近至完全成年[2]。化石的大小、骨化程度、癒合程度、以及骨頭的結構，可以用來推測化石的個體年齡[2]。研究人員計算尖角龍亞科的性徵發展速率，並發現現代動物中，依照年齡大小而分群體階級的動物，也有類似的性徵發展速率[2]。在這類現代動物之中，年輕雄性的性徵完全發展後數年，才會實際進行繁衍、交配[2]。另一方面，雌性個體則沒有這種現象[2]
