完全決定論(principle of complete determinism)是經典物理裏一個很重要的特點,是經典物理與量子物理明顯的分界線。用數學表述,經典物理方程式內絕對不會有普朗克常數的出現。根據對應原理與埃倫費斯特定理,當系統變得越來越大或質量增加時,即作用量超大於普朗克常數,經典物理的特徵傾向就會出現,但也有例外,超流體就是其中之一。因此,論及日常物體,我們通常可以忽略量子力學,經典地描述就足夠了。可是,在物理學裏,現在最熱門的研究科目之一是經典量子對應問題:量子物理的定律,在經典的規模尺寸極限,怎樣轉變為經典物理?
