第2屆沙特阿拉伯市政選舉喺2011年9月22號舉行。係沙特阿拉伯建國以嚟第二次舉行嘅選舉[1]。
背景
[編輯]呢場選舉原本定係2009年10月31號舉行，但係政府話要研究擴大選民同埋要計劃畀埋女性投票所以推遲選舉，所以就推到2011年9月22號舉行[2]。
2011年3月底，城市同農村事務部話，女性喺今屆選舉都係冇資格投票同做候選人，因為係呢個國家嘅習俗嚟[3]。
2011年4月23號至5月19號係畀合資格嘅人登記做選民。2011年5月28號至6月2號就畀合資格嘅人登記做候選人[4]。
制度
[編輯]夠廿一歲嘅男性可以投票選出一半嘅市政機構議席，另外一半係以委任嚟做。
