  • 一個字或者一種語言喺講話或者讀字嘅音。
  • 某個人發出一個字（音）嘅風格。

一個字可以由唔同個體或者團體產生好多種唔同讀法，呢個取決於好多因素，例如佢等生長嘅時同埞，而家住嘅埞，社會階層，同埋教育程度。

語言術語

一個個體發一啲詞語嘅音嘅方式首先取決於發音嘅基本單位『音素』。語言學嘅分支來講，學習爾啲聲音單位嘅就係語音學。音素充當同樣角色被一齊列入類別叫音位，爾啲研究就叫音位學、音素學或者音系學 。
