聖經海怪
喺廿一世紀初，leviathan 嘅形象時不時都會喺西方嘅奇幻故仔當中出現，奇幻裏面嘅 leviathan 多數都係巨型（身體有成幾架船咁大）嘅大海龍噉嘅樣，亦都有啲版本會將 leviathan 描繪成個樣似鯨魚。現代虛構故仔當中嘅 leviathan 多數唔識噴火，不過佢哋依然可以靠住因為龐大體型而有嘅力量而對出海冒險嘅主角造成威脅[2]。
