一條獨木橋
三藩市金門橋係一條懸索橋。

橋係一種由水面或地面突出來嘅高架，用來連住橋頭橋尾兩邊路。橋可以搭來畀人行，畀車行，甚至畀火車行。橋可以打橫搭住谷河或者海峽兩邊，又或者起響地度升高，檻過下面嘅河或者路，等下面交通暢通無阻。

橋原本係種高大嘅樹（喬木），因為佢夠高大，斬落來就夠長放響河上面，可以連住兩邊岸，即家下講嘅獨木橋。
