大紅鸛（英文：Greater Flamingo）係六種紅鸛之中分佈最廣泛嘅一種，佢哋分佈響非洲部分地區、亞洲西南部（包括土耳其）、印度沿海地區、歐洲南部（包括西班牙、葡萄牙、法國等地），有定期遷徙嘅特性。
繁殖動向
[編輯]響香港，有好幾個養大紅鸛嘅地方。包括九龍公園、香港動植物公園、海洋公園以及嘉道理農場暨植物園。
襲擊紅鸛
[編輯]1992年九龍公園因為有人闖入紅鸛籠襲擊紅鸛，政府當局開始加強各公園嘅保安。
