飲品
飲品（粵拼：jam2 ban2），兩廣同海南叫飲料（jam2 liu5）、嘢飲（je5 jam2），係指經過加工製成適合人飲用嘅液體，例如：水、奶、汽水、酒等，主要係用嚟滿足人體機能正常需要，包括：解渴、提供營養、提神等。生物學嚟講飲品係種唔需要用牙噍嘅流質食物。人類必需倚靠水份維持生命，唔飲一個禮拜就死，人淨飲嘢唔食嘢都可以挨一個月。

[編輯]粵語原本無「嘢飲」爾個詞，而今爾個詞亦未喺香港以外嘅地區廣泛使用。爾個詞係近年香港地區部分人對「買嘢飲」等謂+賓+補語語法結構進行「重新分析」得到嘅詞語。爾種「重新分析」喺中文發展史上都好常見[1]。
