XMP
可扩展后设资料平台（英语：Extensible Metadata Platform，XMP）是一项由Adobe Systems所创建的ISO标准（ISO 16684-1:2012）[1]，其目的在于将数码图像资料的后设资料标准化。
沿革
XMP首先出现于2001年4月所发表的Adobe_Acrobat_5.0产品。
2004年6月21日Adobe发布与国际新闻电讯评议会（International Press Telecommunications Council，IPTC）[2]合作，次月由Adobe Systems的Gunar Penikis与IPTC的Michael Steidl所带领的工作小组成立，其中包括来自法新社（Agence France-Presse，AFP）、美联社（Associated Press，AP）、ControlledVocabulary.com[3]、国际数码企业联盟（IDEAlliance）[4]、每日新闻、路透社与其他单位的志工共同制定架构。
2005年3月21日发布XMP IPTC核心架构规格1.0版,Adobe Photoshop CS能由IPTC下载一组订制的接口，包括使用说明、内嵌XMP资讯的示例、规格书、以及研发者的使用说明。而到了Adobe Creative Suite（CS2）该接口已经内建了。
微软自Windows Vista起，Windows影像中心亦开始支持XMP标准，是Microsoft首次采用Exif以外的标准。[5]
