W93是美国的一款热核弹头，计划自2034年开始替换在美国海军潜艇上的W76和W88核弹头。W93将搭载在新型的哥伦比亚级核潜艇上，[1]并会使用新的气动外壳，Mark 7重返大气层载具。[2]
Mark 7重返大气层载具亦会用于英国的新型弹头，与W93同时设计，并共享一些非核组件。[3]
设计
[编辑]预计弹头将包含改进的安全功能如低敏感度高爆炸药(英语: insensitive high explosives)等。[1]设计会基于先前进行过核试验的组件，并不需要进行新的核试验。[4]
