VizieR天文星表数据库
VizieR天文星表数据库是由史特拉斯堡天文中心提供的天体目录。
VizieR天文星表数据库的起源可以追溯到1993年的ESA欧洲空间信息系统目录浏览器，一开始只是要服务天文科学的社群，ESIS专案提前用万维网为网络数据库，可以用一致的方式存取异质性的目录及资料。
史特拉斯堡天文中心长期收集及整理天文数据，因此原始的ESIS目录浏览器转移到史特拉斯堡天文中心，自1996年成立以后，VizieR天文星表数据库就是全球天文学家参考资料的重要来源，这里可以找到定期在天文学杂志更新的编目资料。新的VizieR服务在1997年由CDS翻新，提升了资料量及搜寻功能。在2012年3月已有超过9800个目录[1]。
现在VizieR天文星表数据库是天体物理学虚拟观测站的主要资料来源之一。
