英国独立党（英语：UK Independence Party，缩写为UKIP）是英国的一个右翼民粹主义政党。该党主要的政治理念是推动英国脱离欧盟。
历史
[编辑]该党成立之初便以使英国脱离欧盟为目标，支持透过举行公投退出欧盟。
不少英国独立党支持者是来自原保守党的疑欧派强硬支持者，要求退出欧盟，并认为保守党对欧盟的立场并不坚定。
2009年欧洲议会选举，独立党一举取得11个议席，与三大主流政党保守党、工党和自由民主党并驾齐驱。其后的2010年英国大选，独立党获得九十多万票，尽管未能取得任何议席。其后在多场地方议会的选举，独立党胜出多个地方议席，使独立党逐渐引起英国社会的关注。
2013年英国地方议会选举，独立党取得大量地方政府议席，正式成为地方议会中的第四大党。
2014年欧洲议会选举，独立党成为英国73个席次中第一大党，总得票数比工党和保守党为多。不少是原保守党的支持者。
2014年9月，两名保守党下议院议员辞职并退出保守党，以英国独立党名义参加补选，这已是保守党两个月内第二度有国会议员投靠反欧盟的英国独立党，另一名议员卡斯威尔（Douglas Carswell）上月才以保守党无意认真推动欧盟改革为由率先倒戈。[12]
2015年英国大选中，英国独立党获得总票数仅次于保守党和工党，位居第三位，但仅获得下议院的一个席位[13]。党魁奈杰尔·法拉奇也在自己的选区中败选[14]。他在大选后提出要辞去党魁一职，但未被党内接受[15]。论得票率，独立党的得票从3.1%增长至12.6%，是英国第三大党。
2016年英国脱离欧盟公投后，法拉奇在2016年7月4日宣布已达成个人从政目的，辞去英国独立党党魁一职[16]。
2017年5月英国地方选举中独立党仅获得兰开夏郡的一个席位——丧失了145个席位[17]。从此独立党的票源和地位便被新成立的英国脱欧党取代，并于2021年地方选举中失去所有层级议会席位。
