Softpedia是一个收录大量游戏、驱动程式、手机电话与Windows、Macintosh与Linux平台软件资讯并提供下载的网站，该网站同时收录科技、科学、健康及娱乐新闻。2006年10月后期Alexa之流量排名指其为互联网600个最高流量网站之一[2]。该网站原名为Softnews.ro，于2003年后期改名为Softpedia。
Softpedia声明会使用多种知名防毒及反间谍软件彻底检查每一个他们提供的软件及游戏是否含有病毒、恶意软件、广告软件或间谍软件。Softpedia会给予未发现病毒、恶意软件、广告软件及间谍软件的程式"100% Clean"认证，同时对免费程式给予"100% Free"认证。
软件分类以阶层排序并模仿类Unix档案系统路径方式表示，如"Home / Linux Home"。大型的分类会分割成数页。使用者可以自订排序方式如最近更新日期、下载人数或分数。
