SWEEPS-10是一颗位于银河系核球中的系外行星。直到2007年6月都是目前已知行星中最短轨道周期的候选行星。

该行星环绕位于银河系核球中的恒星SWEEPS J175902.00−291323.7,距离地球约22000光年(距离模数14.1)。SWEEP-10环绕母恒星 SWEEPS J175902.00−291323.7 的轨道周期只有10小时,距离更只有120万公里(相当于地球和月球距离的三倍)。因此该行星也是已知温度最高的行星之一,约1650℃。位于美国马里兰州巴尔的摩太空望远镜科学研究所的团队主持人凯拉许·萨胡表示:“这个和母星拥抱的行星至少有1.6倍木星质量,否则会被恒星的引力拉开”。这种超短周期行星似乎只在矮星周围发现。

矮星相对低的温度允许行星的存在。萨胡表示:“极短周期行星倾向于环绕在比我们的太阳小而低温的红矮星[1]
