NGC 3603-A1是一个位于星团NGC 3603联星,距离地球约 20000 光年。组成该系统的两颗恒星以 3.77 日为周期互绕。NGC 3603-A1a 的质量是 116 ± 31 倍太阳质量,而NGC 3603-A1b 则是 89 ± 16 倍太阳质量[2]。该系统的两颗恒星是能直接量测质量的恒星中最大的,也就是以开普勒定律判定质量(并非推测)的恒星中最重的。这两颗恒星的光谱都有发射线(光谱类型 WN6h)。这两颗恒星是由蒙特利尔大学的团队发现和测定质量。
