HD 121504是一颗位于半人马座的视星等8等黄矮星，光谱类型是与太阳类似的 G2V，并且光度稍高于南门二A。但它距离地球约140光年，肉眼不可见，必须使用双筒望远镜或小型望远镜。
另一颗在天球上和它距离很近的恒星SAO 241323和HD 121504是光学双星，但前者实际上是距离地球数千光年的白色巨星。
2000年时日内瓦系外行星搜寻计划宣布在该恒星旁发现一颗系外行星[1]。
