Gizmodo媒体集团是一家线上媒体公司和部落格网络，过去由Univision旗下的Fusion Media Group营运。此集团由高客传媒在2016年破产时，旗下资产被收购后重组而来。 [1] 2019年4月，此集团和洋葱报被出售给了私募基金Great Hill Partners，后者将他们整并成为G/O Media。 [2]
历史

[编辑]2016年6月10日，高客传媒在Bollea v. Gawker诉讼后，因1.15亿美元的损害赔偿与2500万美元的惩罚性赔偿，进入美国破产法第十一章破产程序。 [3]
2016年8月16日，Univision Communications以1.35亿美元购入了八卦网站高客以外的高客传媒资产，并将公司改组为Gizmodo媒体集团。[4] [5]
发展

2017年9月，Gizmodo媒体集团的第一个子品牌Earther发布。[7]

困境与出售
[编辑]2018年5月8日，Gizmodo媒体集团Special Projects Desk指出Univision内部存在许多问题。[9][10][11]
2018年7月10日，Univision宣布将会探索出售Gizmodo媒体集团与洋葱报的选项。[12]
2019年4月8日，Gizmodo媒体集团与洋葱报以18.9亿美元出售给Great Hill Partners的交易完成，成为G/O Media。[13][14][15][16][17]
