English: Hundreds of years of occupying Indonesia, the Dutch left so much legacy for our country. Despite the cruelty of the colonialists, a number of colonial heritage buildings are still standing firmly for us to admire. One of them is the VOC Shipyard in Jakarta.
As the name implies, the VOC Shipyard is a former shipyard or berth for Dutch trade union ships. Over time, the buildings used have undergone several changes in function. But unfortunately, lately this monumental relic seems to be starting to be forgotten by the owner and the local government.
