伦敦市法团
伦敦市法团（英语：City of London Corporation），亦称伦敦法团[1]，是英国伦敦的老城区——伦敦市的自治组织和地方政府。其辖区只涵盖伦敦市（也叫作“伦敦金融城”或“平方英里”——伦敦城的面积大约是一平方英里），而不是整个大伦敦。
伦敦市法团的宗旨有三：推广伦敦市作为世界领先的国际金融和商务中心的地位；作为地方政府为市民提供服务；及为伦敦、所有伦敦市民和国家提供一系列其它服务。
伦敦市法团的正式名称是“伦敦市的市长、议员和市民”（Mayor and Commonalty and Citizens of the City of London），意即包括伦敦市的市长、参事会（Court of Aldermen）、政务议事厅（Court of Common Council）、和伦敦市的自由民和同业公会。
伦敦市法团驻地是伦敦市政厅。
和英国许多其他城市历史上的法团不同，现存的文献中没有设立伦敦市法团的法律资格的制诰。伦敦市的法团资格被认为是依据时效取得的（by prescription），意即依据它长期被视为拥有法团资格（例如《大宪章》规定“伦敦市得具有及享有其古已有之的自由权”），因此法律设定它具有法团资格。[2] 自诺曼征服以来，伦敦市法团获得各种特殊的待遇，[3][4]其中法团获颁的第一张皇室制诰是1067年，征服者威廉授予伦敦市民制诰，确认其自忏悔者爱德华时代即享有的权利和特权。此后数世纪中颁布的皇室制诰屡次确认并扩展了市民权利。[5]
