[编辑]- 后周世宗第一次亲征南唐，起初进展顺利，在正阳击败南唐援军，但由于南唐将领刘仁赡死守寿州（今安徽寿县），后周大军一连攻打了好几个月，始终无法攻克，只好退兵。
- 后周攻南唐之战中，后周殿前都虞候赵匡胤率军在六合之战以少胜多击败南唐援军反攻。
- 巴西尔·海克萨米里提斯率领的一支拜占庭舰队大胜塔尔苏斯的舰队。
