鸟鳄属（属名：Ornithosuchus）是种已灭绝伪鳄类，化石发现于苏格兰的洛西茅斯砂岩层（Lossiemouth Sandstone），地质年代相当于三叠纪晚期的卡尼阶。鸟鳄起初被认为是肉食性恐龙的祖先（包括暴龙），但鸟鳄现在被认为亲缘关系较接近鳄目，而离恐龙较远。
鸟鳄的头颅骨类似兽脚亚目，但脚掌具有5根脚趾，背部具有两排鳞甲，身长约4米[1]。鸟鳄的后肢有五个脚趾，暴龙只有三个脚趾[2]。
种

目前鸟鳄属只有一个种，模式种长齿鸟鳄（O. longidens），生存于三叠纪晚期的苏格兰。
鸟鳄是鸟鳄科的模式属，鸟鳄科是群四足肉食性动物，但身体机能上可以采二足的方式行走，并在三叠纪晚期分布广泛。目前已知其他两属：脉鳄、里约鳄。
