鲁思陨石坑

鲁思陨石坑（Ruth）是位于月球正面风暴洋东部的一座小撞击坑，其名称取犹太女性名，1976年该名称被国际天文学联合会正式接受。

描述

该陨坑西侧和西北靠近范比斯布莱特陨石坑及克里格陨石坑、北面紧邻更大的罗科陨石坑，残损的普林茨陨石坑则坐落在它南面。鲁思坑的南面及东南分别蜿蜒着阿里斯塔克斯月溪和普林茨月溪，东南稍远处坐落了哈宾杰山脉，而它的西南则延伸着托斯卡内利断崖^[1]。该陨坑中心月面坐标为28°43′N 45°04′W / 28.71°N 45.06°W / 28.71; -45.06，直径3.08公里^[2]，深约0.54公里^[3]。

鲁思陨石坑外观呈圆杯状，几乎未受到撞击侵蚀，坑壁边缘完整清晰，平整的内壁面带有较高的反照率。其坑壁最大高出周边地形110米^[3]，内部容积约1.17立方千米^[3]，形态特征隶属于ALC 型（以该类陨石坑的典型代表—卫星坑阿尔巴塔尼环形山 C所命名）。
