生平
1950年至1957年任香港市政局非官守议员。1953年至1962年任香港立法局非官守议员，及署任行政局非官守议员。1941年获委任为太平绅士。1953年获颁OBE勋衔。1955年获法国荣誉勋衔。1957年晋圣约翰勋衔第三级。1961年晋圣约翰爵士第二级。1962年晋CBE勋衔，并获英国皇家救生会联邦最高十字勋章。[2]
