远期汇率
远期汇率（英语：forward exchange rate）是指银行在与投资者订立远期合约时同意指定将来一个日期将一种货币兑换为另一种货币的汇率，并以此汇率在远期外汇市场进行交易。[1][2][3]跨国企业、银行和其他金融机构订立远期合约，以远期汇率作为对冲[1]。远期汇率由即期汇率与两国之间的利率差异之间的平价关系确定，反映了外汇市场中的经济均衡，消除套利机会。当处于均衡且两国的利率不同时，平价条件意味着远期利率包含了反映利率差异的溢价或折价。远期汇率对预测未来即期汇率具有重要的理论意义。金融经济学家亦指出，远期汇率结合历史数据可以准确地预测未来即期汇率。
