塞浦路斯的阿基亚斯
阿基亚斯 （古希腊语：Ἀρχίας），前二世纪人物，他是托勒密埃及托勒密六世的塞浦路斯统帅（strategos） [1]。
对于阿基亚斯的人生所知有限，他在前164年曾与托勒密六世一同前往罗马，并在前163年担任塞浦路斯统帅职位[2]。塞琉古帝国自安条克四世起就对塞浦路斯岛很有野心，在前155年的时候塞琉古国王德米特里一世准备用500塔兰同收买阿基亚斯，准备让他连着全岛一同献出。这消息走漏被托勒密六世知道，下令逮捕了阿基亚斯准备审判。然而在有司宣判有罪或无罪的审判前夕，阿基亚斯就上吊自杀[3][4]。关于这事件的年份，前155年是传统观点上对于阿基亚斯去世的年份，也有不同学者提出他的自杀可能落在前158年到前154年之间[2]。
这个历史事件也被认为是文艺复兴时期的荷兰人文思想家德西德里乌斯·伊拉斯谟的俗语“蠢人的失败计划”（Inanium inania consilia）起源，指蠢人只会提出蠢计划[5]。
