威斯特法伦徽章

威斯特法伦（德语：Westfalen；英语：Westphalia）是以德国多特蒙德、明斯特、奥斯纳布鲁克等都市为中心的地域。跨北莱茵-威斯特法伦和下萨克森邦，位在莱茵河和威悉河之间。威斯特法伦无精确的境界范围，依时代不同而异。面积约16,000－22,000km2，人口约430万人－800万人。终结三十年战争的《威斯特伐利亚和约》以该地为缔结处。

原本是萨克森公国的一部分。1807－1813年，成为从属于拿破仑的威斯特法伦王国。1815年，成为普鲁士王国的威斯特法伦省。
