针叶樱桃(学名:Malpighia emarginata)是一种金虎尾科小乔木,原产热带,果实可食用。又称阿西罗拉樱桃acerola cherry)、巴巴多斯樱桃巴貝多櫻桃Barbados cherry)、西印度樱桃West Indian cherry[2]、凹缘金虎尾、凹叶金虎尾、大果黄褥花。针叶樱桃原产于南美、墨西哥南部、波多黎各、多米尼加、海地、巴西、中美等地,但现在也开始在美国的得克萨斯州和亚洲的热带地区种植。针叶樱桃以含有丰富的维生素C而著称[3]。针叶樱桃可通过种子、扦插等方式繁殖。生长环境喜干燥的沙质土壤和充分日照。

针叶樱桃果实可食用,并在其原产地广泛被消费,且因其维生素C含量丰富而在其他地区种植[4]。果实也可用于制作果汁、维生素C营养品和婴儿食品[5]。针叶樱桃还有很高的抗氧化能力[6]。针叶樱桃也可作为观赏植物种植。因其叶子和果实都较小,因此可作为盆栽种植[7]
