裴义理
裴义理（Joseph Bailie，1860年7月11日—1935年），又译约瑟夫·培黎[1]，是一名美国美北长老会（American Presbyterian Mission，North）传教士。他是加拿大人，出生在英国的爱尔兰。1890年受美北长老会派遣来到中国，在苏州传教，在阊门外上津桥租房布道，又在城内郡庙讲授英语。1891年结婚。1899年任京师大学堂教习。1911年发起成立中国义农会。1912年在金陵大学任教授。1914年创办金陵大学农科，为中国高等农业教育的开始。他在南京紫金山开始大规模垦荒造林，奠定了该山良好植被的基础。1915年，又在中国倡导成立植树节[2]。1935年逝世。
