裙摆指数
裙摆指数是经济学家乔治·W·泰勒在1926年提出的理论[1][2]。裙摆指数认为当股市呈现牛市时，女性的裙子会比较短．裙摆也会比较高。
在1960年代景气好时，女性开始穿出现像迷你裙之类的服装[3]，有较高的裙摆，可以展现其昂贵的丝袜[4]，而在景气不好时（例如1929年华尔街股灾），在一夜过后，女性服装的裙摆都变低了。2010年一份未经同侪评审的研究指出“经济景气循环会较裙摆变化提早三年发生”[5]。
