埃塞–吉布提铁路(法语：Chemin de Fer Djibouto-Éthiopien, C.D.E.; 阿姆哈拉语：የኢትዮ-ጅቡቲ ባቡር መስመር)是一条连接位处非洲内陆的埃塞俄比亚首都亚的斯亚贝巴和吉布提首都吉布提市的米轨铁路，为两国共同持有。铁路全长783公里，其中吉布提段长100公里，埃塞俄比亚段长683公里。中国铁建于2011至2016年在和线路平行区间建设了一条亚吉铁路。[1][2]
历史
[编辑]铁路原本由法国投资兴建，1897年在吉布提端开工，1917年全线完工。至21世纪初期亚的斯阿贝巴至德雷达瓦段处于停驶状态。
2016年亚吉铁路通车前夕在一星期内仅有两班车（全车二等车厢）往返德雷达瓦与德威雷、通过吉布提边界后的线路被封闭，各种列车仅只通到边境，此后乘客只能在边境车站德威雷来搭乘巴士来过境。

While the economic benefits of the train -- which will be used for both freight and passenger transport, replacing slow and costly truck transport -- is widely recognised, some lament the seemingly inevitable death of the historic French-built diesel-powered train, which went out of service in 2008 after years of neglect.
