艺术和产业大楼（英语：The Arts and Industries Building）是美国华盛顿特区内的一座建筑，位于国家广场，也是史密森尼学会博物馆内第二古老的建筑。该建筑最初名为国家博物馆（National Museum），用来提供空间以收藏展示史密森尼学会增加的藏品[3]。这座建筑的设计者是建筑师阿道夫·格拉斯和保罗·舒而兹（Paul Schulze），开业于1881年，时任美国总统詹姆斯·艾布拉姆·加菲尔德主持了开业典礼。1971年，该建筑被列入美国国家历史名胜[2]。2016年春季，在经过翻新之后，该建筑重新用于举办活动和展览[4][5]。2016年8月开始，瑞秋·戈斯林斯担任艺术和产业大楼总监。

艺术和产业大楼位于史密森尼学会大楼的斜后方，以避免遮住从美国国会大厦看到史密森尼学会大楼的景色[6]。该建筑外观对称，从上空看类似一个中央带圆顶的希腊十字。外部装饰由彩色砖块构成的几何图案。大楼北侧正门上装饰有雕塑家卡斯珀·巴伯设计的雕塑“哥伦比亚保护科学和产业”（Columbia Protecting Science and Industry）[6]。
建筑内部通过天窗实现采光。1883年，建筑外观进行调整，使用了看上去更加鲜艳的栗子色砖块[6]。

据史密森尼学会资料，1876年美国国会对费城世界博览会的拨款包括了一个有趣的附加条件。该条件规定国会拨款是贷款。如果展览会收入足以偿还贷款，那么国会将允许将部分资金用于给国家展览馆修建新大楼[7]。
费城世博会的成功使展览会结束后不久就可以还清贷款[7]。如同承诺，两年后史密森尼学会向国会提出法案，希望修建一座合适的建筑[7]。该法案被包括在蒙哥马利·C·梅格斯将军制定的一个计划内。该计划参考了费城世博会建筑计划，而费城世博会的建筑计划又受到1873年维也纳世界博览会的启发[6]。资金在1879年获得批准，设计由阿道夫·格拉斯和保罗·舒而兹担当[8]。
根据史密森尼学会档案，在新的国家博物馆大楼举办的第一个活动是1881年3月4日，美国总统詹姆斯·艾布拉姆·加菲尔德和副总统切斯特·艾伦·阿瑟的就职典礼。大楼内临时铺上了木地板，圆形大厅了设置了两个点灯，并还设置了10,000个衣帽架及3,000个瓦斯灯。节日的彩旗和装饰充满了整个大厅。圆形大厅内还竖立了巨大的“美国雕像”，象征和平、正义与自由。雕像举起的手中握住了电灯，象征“19世纪美国的技能、天赋、进步和文明”[9]。
八个月后，博物馆正式对公众开放[9]。展览空间达8万平方英尺，包括特别设计的红木展示柜。展品涉及地质、冶金、动物学、医学、医学、人类学、艺术、历史、技术、农业领域[9]。在历史学家兼鱼类学家乔治·布朗·古德的指导下，博物馆同年还设立了艺术、产业、医学植物部门[9]。19世纪末期，博物馆的资料经常被送往其他展览会展出，以向人民传授国家的政治和自然史[9]。
20世纪

1910年，博物馆内有关自然史的藏品搬迁至美国国立自然历史博物馆，国家博物馆也改名为艺术和产业大楼。1964年，大楼内的剩余展览品搬迁至美国国家历史博物馆。1976年，博物馆内有关火箭和航空的展品搬迁至美国国家航空航天博物馆[10]。同年艺术和产业大楼重新开放，并举办费城世博会百年展。
21世纪

2004年，艺术和产业大楼再次关闭，以进行翻新。由于其不确定的未来和持续恶化的状况，国家历史保护信托在2006年将艺术和产业大楼列入美国最濒危地点之一。2009年，艺术和产业大楼从2009年美国复苏与再投资法案获得2500万美元拨款，用于翻新工程[11]。
预计该建筑的完整修复将耗资2亿美元，仅翻新结构就需要6,500万美元，并持续至2014年[12]。该建筑被讨论作为国立拉美裔美国人博物馆的可能地点[13][14]。2014年1月，史密森尼学会表示由于资金问题，该建筑在可预见的未来仍然关闭[15]。但在2015年4月12日，史密森尼学会代理秘书长阿尔伯特·霍瓦斯（Albert Horvath）表示该建筑的40%将在2015年秋季重新开放。霍瓦斯还表示该建筑不会完全重新开放，且由于该建筑的未来仍不确定，因此史密森尼学会拒绝将拉美裔美国人博物馆的计划纳入该建筑的未来规划中[16]。
