莲澳

莲澳，位于香港大埔的大帽山脚下，锦山村石莲路之上，是一条历史悠久的客家村。村里原本只有先祖源于梅州李姓的单一姓氏，后来港英政府兴建城门水塘，郑姓的村民由荃湾迁徙至此[1]。

由于出入当地非常困难，虽有车路但路段狭窄，实施单线双程行车。人行道亦十分陡峭，路程甚长，因此现在人口逐渐减少。附近有一间佛教香海莲社半春园，特别日子有斋菜提供。由最近的太和火车站步行入村， 需时超过半小时，沿途多半是斜路。
