蒭藁六,即鲸鱼座ε(Epsilon Ceti,ε Ceti),又名BD-12 501HD 16620SAO 148528HR 781,是一个位于鲸鱼座联星系统。它的视星等是肉眼可见的+4.84.[2]。基于其周年视差量测值14.58 mas[1],天文学家计算其距离太阳98光年。

刍蒿六是一组光谱联星轨道周期为2.65年,轨道离心率0.23。该系统轨道半长轴0.11天文单位,轨道倾角24.2°。系统中的主星是一颗F2V黄-白矮星,而伴星的光谱目前仍难以与主星光谱完全分离,因此只能推测它是光谱型介于F7V至G4V之间的主序星[3]。刍蒿六系统的年龄大约是18亿年[4],并且主星的质量大约是太阳的1.4倍,伴星质量则大约与太阳相等[3]
