花田鸡（学名：Coturnicops exquisita）为秧鸡科花田鸡属的鸟类，体长13公分，是体型最小的秧鸡，主要分布于东北亚，以及南方的中国东南沿海，栖息于低海拔的草甸、内陆湿地与农田。因性甚隐蔽，行踪隐密，学界对其所知甚少，但咸信其族群规模正在减小[1][2]。
分布
[编辑]花田鸡为候鸟，已知的繁殖地包含乌苏里江与黑龙江流域，以及更源头的鄂嫩河与石勒喀河流域。过境鸟和冬候鸟则见于日本、朝鲜半岛，以及中国长江以南的沿海地区[1][3]。
