一卷常见的文书胶带被安装在胶带台里，通过在锯齿台施压切断的方式使用

胶带，又名胶条、胶带、胶带纸等，是一种涂有黏合剂背衬的组合材料，通常是长条并卷起，以施压拉扯的方式切断成一小段使用。依据黏合剂的不同和表面材料不同，分为多种类型，而其单位通常是以“卷”来计算。其制做方式为在原膜的基础上经过高压电极使一面表面粗糙后涂上胶水后经过经过剪裁分成小卷就是我们日常使用的胶带。胶带的黏合剂通常是丙烯酸胶，其主要成分是乙酸仲丁酯。

历史

胶带的重要组成元素：压敏胶黏剂是在1845年由一位外科医生霍瑞斯·戴（Horace Day）所发明的[1]，1901年，德国药剂师及企业家奥斯卡·特罗普洛维茨（Oskar Troplowitz）替拜尔斯道夫公司发明了叫做“ Leukoplast”的黏性贴片。
