网络信息服务
网络信息服务简称 NIS（Network Information Service），时又译为网络资料服务协议，亦即一般简称之“黄页”YP（Yellow Pages），最早由昇阳公司开发出来，为一套用来管理电脑网络中所有与电脑系统管理相关之配置文件，如用户账号、密码、主机名称或组群等的主从式目录服务协议。
由于 NIS 推出时的旧有名字 "Yellow page"“黄页”已为英国电信集团注册为该公司商业电话名录的商标，故昇阳将之改名为 NIS，然而所有的指令及函数命名仍以原缩写 "yp" 为起首。
在许多环境下，已有其他目录服务比 NIS 更先进、更安全，例如 LDAP 就已经逐渐取代 NIS。
