制作
[编辑]2018年11月，宣布大卫·罗利将编剧和执导一部改编自14世纪叙事诗《高文爵士与绿衣骑士》的电影，由A24、Ley Line Entertainment和Bron Studios制片[4]。2019年3月，戴夫·帕托为出演电影进行洽谈[5]。同月，巴里·基奥恩和拉尔夫·尹爱森加入演员阵容[6]。2019年4月，宣布艾莉西亚·菲瑾德和艾琳·凯莉曼加入演员阵容[7]。主体拍摄于2019年3月在阿德莫尔工作室开始进行。
发行
[编辑]《绿衣骑士》原定于2020年3月16日举行的西南偏南进行首映，并于2020年5月29日在美国院线上映[8][9]。但受2019冠状病毒疾病疫情影响，该电影节被取消举办[10]。2020年12月，宣布该片由A24定于2021年7月30日在美国上映[11]。
评价
[编辑]《绿衣骑士》收获媒体和评论家的正面评价，烂番茄基于319条评论，其中284条评论给出“新鲜”的评价，新鲜度89%，平均得分8分（满分10分）[12]，为该网站2021年度最高评价的科幻与奇幻类电影[13]。Metacritic则根据56条评论，获得85分（满分100分）[14] 根据 影院评分调查，观众票选评级“C+”[15]
《Collider》的狄耶哥·彼涅达·帕切克（英语：Diego Pineda Pacheco）将本片列入“十部世界神话迷必看的电影”名册[16]。
