紫颌裸胸鳝，又称紫颌裸胸鯙，为辐鳍鱼纲鳗鲡目鯙亚目海鳝科的其中一种，分布于西大西洋区，从美国佛罗里达州南部至巴西，东大西洋区，包括马德拉群岛、亚速群岛、佛得角群岛、加那利群岛等海域，栖息深度可达145米，体长可达122公分，生活在珊瑚礁、岩礁区，夜间觅食，属肉食性，以鱼类、甲壳类等为食，可做为食用鱼及观赏鱼。
