众神花园龙属（学名：Theiophytalia）又译神园龙，是鸟脚下目禽龙类恐龙的一属，是种植食性恐龙。化石发现于美国科罗拉多州，地质年代约1亿1200万年前，相当于白垩纪早期的阿普第阶到阿尔比阶交界[1][2]。
发现与命名
正模标本（编号YPM 1887）是一个部分头颅骨，也是目前的唯一化石，是在1878年发现于科罗拉多州科罗拉多泉市附近的上帝花园（Garden of the Gods）。在1886年，奥塞内尔·查利斯·马什将这个头颅骨建立为弯龙的一个种（Camptosaurus amplus）。之后1909年，查尔斯·怀特尼·吉尔摩尔（Charles W. Gilmore）也认为这个头颅骨是弯龙的一个种，吉尔摩尔在建立弯龙的重建模型时，头部是参考这个头颅骨；因为弯龙的化石也是发现于莫里逊组[3]。根据近年的地层比较研究，这个头颅骨的发现处，其实是珀加图瓦尔组（Purgatoire Formation）的Lytle段，地质年代是更晚的白垩纪早期。
在2006年，肯尼思·卡彭特（Kenneth Carpenter）等人详细研究弯龙的化石，发现这个头颅骨有许多不同于弯龙的特征，头颅骨较长、较粗壮，上颌骨的背突较宽、眶前孔相对较小，方骨外形较钝，下颌关节呈球根状。在同份研究中，肯尼思·卡彭特等人将这个头颅骨建立为新属，模式种是克尔众神花园龙（Theiophytalia kerri）。属名在古希腊文意为“上帝的花园”，是将化石发现处的古希腊文译名；种名则是以发现化石的James Hutchinson Kerr为名[2]。
分类
肯尼思·卡彭特等人在命名时，认为众神花园龙的演化位置介于弯龙、禽龙之间[2]。 在2010年、2011年的两个研究，发现众神花园龙属于禽龙类内部的硬棘龙类（Styracosterna）演化支，位在硬棘龙类演化支的原始位置，是马龙（Hippodraco）的近亲[4][5]。
