球（香港通称英语音译的“波”ball）是球类运动的必备品，是旋转对称、反射对称但并不一定表面光滑的球体。球类运动会依照它所用的球的物理形态，决定用什么东西接触该球以进行比赛。比如足球的形状和弹力等适合用脚、头击打，不便于用手，于是足球便规定身体任何部分除手外都可触球。
