玫瑰副绯鲤为辐鳍鱼纲鲈形目鲈亚目须鲷科的其中一种，分布于印度西太平洋区，从东非、南非、红海至澳洲、印尼海域，栖息深度20-100米，体长可达43公分，生活在沿岸礁沙混合区，属肉食性，可做为食用鱼。
