玉佛寺 (万象)

玉佛寺，是老挝首都万象的佛寺，建于1565年。

这座寺院是1565年澜沧国王赛塔提拉由琅勃拉邦迁都万象时兴建，用来供奉从与清迈战争中得来的帕佛陀大摩尼宝玉佛。该庙被用作赛塔提拉个人礼拜的地方，正因为如此，在这个寺庙不像老挝其他寺庙一样有常住僧人。玉佛供奉在寺庙200多年，但在1779年，万象被拉玛一世围攻，寺院被破坏，玉佛被带走供奉在曼谷至今。

该庙在1816年由国王昭阿努重建，在原供奉玉佛的地方供奉另一佛像，但该寺在1828年因昭阿努起兵反暹罗，和万象一起被夷为平地。该寺在1936年-42年法国殖民时期第三次重建。在20世纪70年代，玉佛寺从一个礼拜的地方专为博物馆，在1993年再转回寺院。
