猿渡信光

猿渡信光（天文3年（1534年） - 天正15年4月17日（1587年5月24日）），战国时代及安土桃山时代的武将。岛津氏家臣。官位扫部兵卫，后来成为越中守。先祖是平高望、父亲为猿渡信资。儿子为猿渡信丰与猿渡与三。

略历

天文3年（1534年）出生。

仕于岛津氏，支配领包括加世田及羽月等地区，担任地头职务。擅于武勇，于天正12年（1584年）与肥前国的龙造寺氏交战的冲田畷之战建立功勋。其在冲田畷之战中，率领约1千人部队作战（岛津・有马联合军总数约6千），但嫡子弥次郎于战役中阵亡。

天正15年（1587年）丰臣秀吉的九州征伐时，于根白坂之战阵亡。
