渐台一Delta2 Lyrae、δ2 Lyr)是在天琴座的一颗4等星,距离地球大约900光年。它的光谱是M4II的标准[4],意思是它是一颗亮巨星,表面温度大约是3,600K。它辐射出的能量是太阳的10,000倍,但是超过90%的能量是在比可见光更长的红外线波段。直接的测量,结合依巴谷卫星的视差,得到它的半径是1.1[5] - 1.3[6]天文单位,与从其它观测资料计算得到的大小符合。

它原本是一颗蓝色主序星,但现在已经是一颗低温的渐近巨星分支的恒星,核已经是简并的碳-氧核心。它是颗半规则变星,变光幅度0.2等,但是周期不确定。渐台一和渐台增一(天琴座δ1)曾经被认为是一对目视联星,但实情并非如此,只是从地球看它们两颗星在同一个方向上。


从其邻近的恒星系统CCDM J18545+3654BC光谱显示,它与渐台一在相同的距离上,这可能意味着这三颗星形成一个三合星的恒星系统。在这种情况下,CCDM J18545+3654BC与渐台一的距离是24,000 AU,而轨道周期大约要24,000年。而在CCDM J18545+3654BC系统的两颗星相距约600天文单位,互绕的轨道周期至少要10,500年。

渐台一是疏散星团史蒂芬森1中最亮的一颗[7][8]
